Certification and Accreditation

Overview

Infoblox offers several certifications programs to individuals as well as accreditation at the company level. For the customer, Infoblox certifications provide a way to ensure that the individual or service provider selected to perform the work has the skills necessary to install, upgrade, and maintain the entire Infoblox Trinzic family of products or to provide training on the product line.

For the individual, certification provides a way to differentiate him or herself from other professionals. For the service provider, accreditation provides verification of skill level and a means of differentiation versus other service providers. There are two accreditation options at the company level today: Authorized Training Center (ATC) and Authorized Service Provider (ASP).

For background information, please view the Certification and Accreditation brief.

Certifications

Certifications awarded to individuals are described in this section. To receive certification, the individual must take all required modules and classes then pass a test administered by a 3rd party testing vendor.

To ensure broad and deep product coverage, Infoblox offers two certification tracks for individuals:

  1. Trinzic Product Family Certification (all except NetMRI and related modules)
  2. NetMRI Administrator Certification

Accreditations

In addition to individual Certification options, Infoblox offers Accreditation at the company level as described in this section. There are two Accreditation options:

  • Authorized Training Center: An Authorized Training Center (ATC) is accredited to sell and deliver Infoblox technical classes. In addition to employing certified instructors (CIIs), ATCs are monitored by Infoblox to ensure a high level of student proficiency and satisfaction. As a result, a student trained at an ATC should have the same skills as one trained directly by Infoblox. For a current list of ATCs, please contact your Infoblox sales representative or channel partner.

  • Authorized Service Provider: An Authorized Service Provider (ASP) is one who is meeting multiple Infoblox criteria as specified in official Infoblox partner program(s). One criterion is that the partner employs individuals with a current CIPS certification. ASPs are monitored by the Infoblox Professional Services team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
